This year's R(un) for One 5K will be held at Chastain Park in Atlanta, GA at 8AM. Your R(un) packet will be available for pickup prior to the race on Saturday, August 24th from 7:00 AM to 8:00 AM.
Parking will be in the Red Lot located at Powers Ferry Road and Elliot Galloway Way in between the Horse Park and amphitheater. This is also where the run begins. We will have signs to direct you when you arrive.
The R(un) for One 5K and Fun R(un) supports (un)adopted®, Lifeline Children’s Services’ international orphan care ministry. Our desire is to manifest the gospel to orphaned and vulnerable children and equip them with the life skills needed to bring about community transformation.
This looks different in each of the 16 countries where (un)adopted is working, but a few things remain priority — making the name of Jesus known and empowering the local church to care for the more than 153 million children that are fatherless.
One-hundred percent of the proceeds from the R(un) for One go to (un)adopted's work in Colombia, Peru, Dominican Republic, India, Guatemala, Costa Rica, China, Haiti, Togo, Liberia, Uganda, Ethiopia, Ukraine and Pakistan.
